PETRONAS returns with second episode of drama series '366'

IN conjunction with the upcoming Aidilfitri holiday, PETRONAS has released "Hari Ke-123" or "Day 123", the second episode of their original drama series titled "366".

"366" is PETRONAS' seven-episode drama series, with each episode released over festive occasions throughout the year.

Continuing PETRONAS' legacy of showcasing true Malaysian stories, "366" demonstrates changes everyone has had to face in recent years.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Kabir Bhatia, "366" is a story of inquiry, self-discovery and atonement, while integrating PETRONAS' central festive theme for 2022, 'Live Again'.

Essentially, this drama series tells the stories of several Malaysians in a futuristic scenario, where second chances play a major theme.

The first episode, which aired on Chinese New Year, titled "Day 32", centred on the main heroine Zhi Yi, her friends and family. Zhi Yi is caught between having a reunion dinner with her father and giving in to her mother's odd request when she returns home for Chinese New Year. Unexpected events leave Zhi Yi confused, not knowing how to handle her current situation.

Keeping things interesting this time around, the second episode focuses on Poji. Played by Azri Sabri, Poji is a bold and diligent young man who returns to his hometown in the hopes of reuniting with his childhood love, Ayu.

The storyline turns and explores Poji's childhood, providing insight into his character and hinting at a growing romance with Ayu.

Poji is about to propose to Ayu when life throws him a curveball and he begins to wonder about the purpose of everything.

However, even in adversity, Poji faces the final test with perseverance in accepting the provisions of destiny.

PETRONAS senior general manager of Group Strategic Communications, Datin Anita Azrina Abdul Aziz, said, "It has only been several months into 2022, but we can already see Malaysians resuming their daily lives and finding new purposes, chasing dreams and leaving the past behind. The best we can do is keep moving forward, individually, collectively, and as a nation.

"As we reunite with families this Hari Raya, let us acknowledge how far we have come, our courage and the sacrifices we made in the past couple of years. Let us not take anything for granted and cherish the company of our loved ones."

PETRONAS hopes that viewers will enjoy the second instalment of this seven-episode drama series as the characters journey through adversity and life events while learning from them.
