Israeli soldiers removed for reciting Jewish prayers, singing Hannukah in Jenin mosque [WATCH]

ISRAELI soldiers who recited Jewish prayers and sang Hannukah songs inside a Jenin mosque were immediately removed from operational activity in the occupied West Bank city.

Al Jazeera, on Dec 14, reported that Israeli soldiers, conducting raids in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin filmed videos from inside a mosque, reciting Jewish prayers and singing Hannukah songs, while standing at the minibar.

The space is normally reserved for an imam's sermon and prayer.

"…Soldiers acted against (Isreali army) codes of conduct within a religious establishment. The soldiers were immediately removed from operational activity. The soldiers will be disciplined accordingly," Israeli army was quoted as saying.

The Israeli military raid on Jenin, home to a refugee camp, began on Dec 12.

Israel is also accused of blocking access to ambulances and hospitals. More than 260 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank have been killed and over 4,000 detained by Israeli forces since Oct 7.
