SEVERAL areas in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang and Shah Alam will experience water disruptions between tomorrow and Friday.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) said the supply disruptions followed scheduled maintenance such as pipe cleaning.
Residents in Jalan Mewah 3/4, 3/5, Taman Pandan Mewah, Jalan Pandan Prima 1-4 and Jalan Pandan Prima 4-6, Pandan Prima will be affected tomorrow.
The interruptions are from 9am to 5pm.
On Wednesday, the affected areas are Jalan Wangsa 1/ 1 - 1/ 3 and Jalan 1/4 - 1/6, Jalan Wangsa Cheras, Taman Wangsa Cheras and Jalan Sunway 1/2, 1/4, Taman Sunway Cheras, which will experience water supply disruptions from 9am to 5pm.
Residents in Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Suasa 1-6, Jalan Gangsa dan Jalan 20/146, will be affected by water supply problems between Wednesday at 10pm and Thursday at 4am.
Supply disruptions will occur in Jalan Sunway 1/6, 1/8, Taman Sunway Cheras, Jln CH 10, 11, 12, 12A and 12B, Taman Cheras Hartamas from 9am to 5pm on Thursday.
From 10pm on Thursday to 6am on Friday, pipe cleaning will affect water supply to Jalan Sungai Udang, Jalan Selamat, Jalan Yadi, Telok Gadong Kecil due to the installation of Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) at Jalan Selamat, Jalan Besar Sungai Bertih.
On Friday, from 9am to 5pm, the areas affected are Jalan CH 9, Cheras Hartamas, Jalan CH 1 and Jalan CH8, Taman Cheras Hartamas.
In Kuantan, a large number of areas will experience disruptions on June 15 due to system repair works at the Semambu Water Treatment Plant.
The water disruption will be from 8am to 11pm, and will affect 40,000 account holders.
The affected areas are parts of Jalan Bukit Ubi, the whole of Jalan Lim Hoe Lek, Sekilau, Galing, Jalan Haji Ahmad, Air Putih, Setali, Jalan Tengku Muhamad, Alor Akar, Tok Sira, Sri Kuantan, Kubang Buaya, Taman Selamat, Teluk Chempedak, Jalan Dato Abu Samah, Taman Gelora, Tanjung Api, Jalan Teluk Sisek, Padang Lalang, the whole of Pelindung, Bukit Beserah, Kampung Bugis, Kampung Jeram, Taman Satelite, the whole of Bukit Goh, Bukit Kuantan, RTP Bukit Goh, parts of Tanjung Pasir and its surrounding areas.
Residents are advised to store water supply.
