MOTORISTS in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, have been complaining about a sinkhole.
Motorist Syazmin Asyraff Rahim said the 75cm-wide sinkhole was difficult to spot, especially at night.
“I, with friends from the Ampang Brotherhood, have marked the area with spray paint and hope motorists can avoid it.”
He said he feared the sinkhole might cause a crash.
Syazmin said he had notified the Public Works Department, but action had yet to be taken.

A Hulu Langat Public Works Department spokesman said the department had sent officers to check the sink-hole.
“I believe the sinkhole is caused by water flowing from a drain nearby.
“Covering the hole will not solve the problem.
“We need to stop the water from flowing in.”
He said contractors started patching up the sinkhole after Actionline contacted the department.
