PJ resident faces sticky situation

KUALA LUMPUR: A concerned patron of the Kelana Jaya post office complained that the 60 sen stamps sold at the post office were out of stock.

Mohamad Ismail Khan, of Petaling Jaya, told Actionline that he bought the stamps on two occasions. However, on his third visit to the post office recently, he was told that the 60 sen stamps were out of stock.

“Even the 30 sen stamps were sold out. The reason the staff at the counter gave me was that Pos Malaysia Bhd headquarters had not sent the stock.

“They offered me a combination of 10 and 50 sen stamps or 20 and 40 sen stamps, which is unacceptable as it requires sticking the stamps individually,” he said.

He said the post office should restock the stamps.
