THE public are advised to take note of updates on the traffic management plan for MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) construction in Jalan Kuala Selangor.
A temporary left lane closure at slip road of DUKE 2 (Kuala Lumpur-bound) is in effect until April 15.
Motorists heading for Kuala Lumpur via DUKE 2 highway will be diverted to the right lane (as indicated by purple arrows in the graphics below).
The ongoing slip road closure to Jalan Kuala Selangor from Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) between 10pm and 6am will continue until April 30.
During the closure, the following diversions are enforced:
1. Motorists from LDP heading to Sungai Buloh can turn right at the LDP/DUKE 2 Interchange traffic light to connect to Jalan Kuala Selangor (Kepong-bound) and make a U-turn after the Kepong Sentral KTM Station underneath the MRR2 flyover before joining the ramp up to Jalan Kuala Selangor (Sungai Bulohbound) (purple arrows).
2. Motorists from Persiaran Jati heading for Sungai Buloh can turn left to Jalan Kuala Selangor (Kepong-bound) and then make a U-turn after the Kepong Sentral KTM Station underneath the MRR2 flyover before joining the ramp up to Jalan Kuala Selangor (Sungai Buloh-bound) (blue arrows).
3. For those heading for Sungai Buloh from Kepong, they are advised to use the ramp up to Jalan Kuala Selangor (Sungai Buloh-bound) (green arrows).
Another long-term lane closure is at KM49.5 of Jalan Kuala Selangor (Kepong-bound) until June 30.
It involves daytime closure (6am to 10pm) for the following:
1. Left lane of Jalan Kuala Selangor (Kepong-bound) will be closed on the ramp up to Damansara Damai for a 100m stretch.
Motorists from Sungai Buloh heading for Damansara Damai will have to use the right lane of Jalan Kuala Selangor for 50m before diverging into two lanes at the exit of the ramp (purple arrows).
For night time closure (10pm to 6am), please take note that:
1. A 100m stretch of the left lane of Jalan Kuala Selangor (Kepong-bound) on the ramp up to Damansara Damai is closed. Motorists from Sungai Buloh heading for Damansara Damai can use the right lane of Jalan Kuala Selangor for 50m before exiting to the ramp. Only one lane is made available during the closure (purple arrows).
Motorists from NKVE Sungai Buloh toll/Sierramas to Kepong are not affected.
