Nestle expects explosive sales growth via e-commerce

KUALA LUMPUR: Nestle (M) Bhd is confident that its target of earning RM500 million through e-commerce can be reached within the next three to five years.

In 2016, Nestle Malaysia chief executive officer Alois Hofbauer said that the company’s e-commerce business tripled over the financial period of 2015, without revealing the exact financial figures for those two years.

He was speaking to the media today after the company's 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) here today.

Alois also said that the company has set aside a capex of RM200 million for 2017.
