MyRumah Property exhibition to hit Kedah next month

ALOR STAR: Malaysia leading property exhibition, MyRumah Property Showcase will arrive in Kedah early next month.

Organised by the New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Bhd (NSTP), the showcase is first to be held in the state and will offer wide range of properties from renowned property developers to potential buyers.

The showcase will be held at the Aman Central Mall from Aug 4 until 6 from 10am until 10pm.

Nine major property developers, including Bina Darulaman Berhad, Paramount Properties, Aman Setia Group, Belleview Group, and Sunsuria Berhad, are scheduled to participate in the event.

Thirty speakers and real estate experts are also expected to give talks and take part in forums during the exhibition. Visitors will get to interact and gain valuable knowledge on property buying.

NSTP Advertisement general manager (agency, direct and special feature advertisement) Roche Chew said MyRumah would focus on the concept of education, exhibition and entertainment.

He said the first MyRumah was held in March at NSTP’s headquarters in Balai Berita Bangsar, followed by the second showcase at Komtar JBCC, Johor Bahru in May, this year.

The two exhibitions saw 37 property units sold valued at RM30 million.

“Kedah is the third leg of the showcase and we forecast some 20,000 visitors will attend the showcase here.

“It is fitting that we are holding it at Aman Central Mall which is in the heart of the city,” he said in a press conference today.

He said MyRumah is the best place for public to get first-hand information and latest property developers’ offerings, which ranges from residential to commercial ownership or investment.
