KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Assurance (HLA) has appointed Loke Kah Meng as its new chief operating officer effective August 1, 2017.
Loke, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, has held various position in the insurance industry over the years.
HLA said in a statement today that prior to joining the company, he was managing director and chief executive officer of AXA Affin Life Insurance; executive Vice President and chief marketing officer of Great Eastern Life Assurance; as well as the executive Vice President of Manulife Insurance.
He holds a Master of Arts in Finance and Investments from the University of Exeter, and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries as well as a Registered Financial Planner.
