EPF raises stake in AWC

KUALA LUMPUR: THE Employees Provident Fund’s (EPF) shareholding in AWC Bhd has breached five per cent.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, AWC said EPF has bought additional 200,000 shares to increase its stake in AWC to 5.032 per cent. In total, EPF would have 13.28 million shares in AWC.

AWC’s shares closed flat today to RM1 from Friday’s close. The trading was, however, 38.22 per cent lower with 1.1 million shares changed hands.

AWC was involved in the provision of integrated facility management services as well as landscape architectural services.

It currently has a market capitalisation of RM264 million.

The company has recently bagged a sub-contract worth RM32.6 million from MCC Overseas (M) Sdn Bhd for plumbing works.
