KUALA LUMPUR: Harley Davidson has announced it would undergo a dealer refresh in the Malaysian market and begin searching for new dealer partners effective immediately.
The motor company said the refresh dealership is part of its long-term objective to grow its international business to 50 per cent of annual volume.
"Dear fans, Harley-Davidson is refreshing our dealership network in Malaysia," a statement on Harley-Davidson Asia Facebook page read.
The motorcycle company assured customers that it was working on a seamless transition to the new dealer.
"We’re working towards a seamless transition to continue bringing exciting motorcycles, parts and accessories, as well as apparel to you in Malaysia," the statement read.
In a response to a customer enquiry, Harley-Davidson said customers would be able to get their motorcycles serviced at the new dealer locations when they open.
"Harley-Davidson is already in the process of looking for partners to open new dealerships.. Valid warranties on Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be honored by the new dealers."
The company added that it would make announcements at an appropriate time.
