KUALA LUMPUR: Kejuruteraan Asastera Bhd (KAB), an electrical and mechanical engineering company, yesterday received the Letter of Acceptance from Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd to act as the latter’s nominated subcontractor for a RM14.5 million electrical and telephone services works for a luxury condominium project here.
The contract involves the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems as well as telephone and telecommunications infrastructure throughout the development.
KAB is expected to commence work on 8 January 2018 and completion is to be by 24 May 2020.
"We appreciate Kerjaya Prospek’s trust and confidence in KAB and intend to solidify our working relationship as Kerjaya Prospek’s nominated contractor by delivering on time and as promised.
"We are confident that 2018 will be a better year for our Group in view of our expansion plans as well as the improving macroeconomic landscape," KAB managing director Dato’ Lai Keng Onn said in a statement.
KAB’s main business activities involve the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems including electrical distribution systems, communications and information technology networks and ELV or Extra Low Voltage systems.
KAB also provides mechanical engineering services such as the installation, testing and commissioning of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
