KUALA LUMPUR: M101 Holdings Sdn Bhd has appointed China Railway Construction Corp Malaysia Bhd (CRCC) as the main contractor for its RM2.2 billion worth in GDV M101 Skywheel project.
M101 chief executive officer Datuk Seth Yap said with CRCC on board, M101 Skywheel is well on its way to becoming Malaysia’s next iconic landmark.
China Railway Construction Corp (International) Ltd chairman Zhuo Lei said M101 Skywheel is a good addition to its portfolio and building this project will raise the standards of the construction industry.
CRCC, one of the subsidiaries of China Railway Construction Corp is a large construction enterprise with over 65 years of experience and it is supervised by the State Council of China.
CRCC is ranked one of the largest and the most competitive construction enterprise in both China and the World.
The company was recently ranked 80 in world top 500 Fortune. CRCC has a wealth of experience in the design, construction and management of high-rise buildings more than 300 meters tall.
Recently, CRCC successfully constructed the Four Seasons Hotel with a total height of 342.5 meters.
