KUALA LUMPUR: Only World Group Holdings Bhd (OWG) has entered into a heads of agreement with Animation Theme Park Sdn Bhd (ATP) to facilitate discussions on managing an animation studio in Ipoh.
ATP is the developer and owner of the theme park Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS), a joint venture between Perak Corp Bhd unit PCB Development Sdn Bhd and RSG MAPS Sdn Bhd.
MAPS has over 40 attractions spread across six thematic zones.
The two sides — OWG and ATP — have tentatively agreed to seal the management services agreement in three months or such further time as mutually agreed upon.
OWG said the heads of agreement is not expected to have any material effect on its earnings, net assets or gearing for the current year ending June 30, 2018.
At the close of market today, OWG’s share price added one sen to RM1.51.
