KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Rakyat has raised the base rate (BR) and base financing rate (BFR) by 0.25 per cent from February 6.
The BR and BFR will be increased to 4.1 per cent and 7.08 per cent respectively, the bank said.
The increase was in line with Bank Negara Malaysia's recent announcement to raise the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) by 25 bps to 3.25 per cent during its monetary policy committee meeting on Thursday 25 January 2018, it added.
