Siemens Malaysia appoint new CEO and CFO

KUALA LUMPUR: Siemens Malaysia has appointed Indranil Lahiri as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO), succeeding Datuk Prakash Chandran, who is now the lead country CEO of Siemens Indonesia.

The company said Indranil has over 22 years of industry experience including 18 years with Siemens India and Bangladesh.

Previously, Indranil was the head of digital factory – Factory Automation (DF FA) in Siemens India since April 2017. He brings with him a wealth of experience in various verticals of the business, including Siemens digitalisation initiatives.

Indranil graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University of India.

Meanwhile, Siemens Malaysia appointed Madan Mohan as its new chief financial officer (CFO) in January 2018, replacing Gerhard Link, who has since retired.

Madan joined Siemens India 29 years ago, and held various roles including accounting processes, customer relationship management, operations and project management.

Previously, he was based in Siemens Singapore as the head of global shared services for Asean Pacific in 2000, and joined Siemens Malaysia in 2015.
