KUALA LUMPUR: M-Mode Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, E&J Builders Sdn Bhd, has clinched a RM260.57 million contract to undertake the construction works for a proposed 25-storey mixed commercial development in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the digital content provider said its unit received the letter of award today from Titijaya PMC Sdn Bhd on behalf of Messrs Blu Waterfront Development Sdn Bhd.
M-Mode said the project was expected to be completed within three years.
“The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of M-Mode for the financial year ending May 31, 2019,” it added.
M-Mode set up E&J Builders last year in order to diversify into the property construction sector.
