KUALA LUMPUR: Felcra Bhd has announced the appointment of three new members to its board of directors (BOD), effective Nov 13.
They are SCS Global Advisory (M) Sdn Bhd Chairman, Datuk Maznah Abdul Jalil, Social Security Organisation Chief Investment Officer, Dr Suzana Idayu Wati Osman and PNB Development Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Salem Kailany.
Felcra Chairman Datuk Nageeb Wahab said the appointments are expected to help boost the organisation’s development.
“For the first time ever, women comprises 50 per cent of Felcra’s BOD, in line with the government’s aim to increase their involvement as important decision makers in organisations,” he said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, Nageeb said at its first meeting, Felcra’s BOD had focused on new, comprehensive long-term directions, the changes that needed to be made to strengthen its organisational structure and ensuring the new management team’s complete adherence to corporate governance.
