KTMB appoints Kamarulzaman Zainal as new CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) has announced the appointment of Datuk Ir. Kamarulzaman Zainal as the new chief executive officer (CEO), effective today.

KTMB said Kamarulzaman, 56, will be replacing Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin, whose contract expired on September 15.

Kamarulzaman was appointed to the KTMB board on August 1, 2016.

Prior to this, he served in the Royal Malaysia Air Force.

After his 21-year stint in the Air Force, he joined the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) as a senior vice president of industry intelligence.
