Faliq appointed as new CEO of NSFC

SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan Football Association (NSFA) have appointed Faliq Firdaus Muhammad Rom as Negri Sembilan FC's (NSFC) chief executive officer with immediate effect.

NSFA president, Tunku Syed Razman Tunku Syed Idrus Al-Qadri said the appointment of Faliq, who is also the Negri Sembilan Football Association executive secretary, to replace Satwant Singh was decided at the third NSFA executive committee meeting for the 2022-2025 term recently.

He said the meeting also decided to form a selection committee comprising the top leadership of NSFA and NSFC management to select a new team coach.

"Faliq, 31, is experienced in the sports marketing sector as well as being treasurer of the Malaysian Sports Industry Management Association (PRISM)."

"He also served as head of media and communication for the National Football Development Programme (NFDP) at the National Sports Council and manager at the Malaysian Grassroots League (MGL)," he said today (January 12). — Bernama
