KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB) is offering Chinese New Year deals on all Economy Class seats from today until February 3, 2020 to domestic destinations during the upcoming festive season.
The national carrier said the Fú Fixed Fare Festival deal would be applicable to more than 600 domestic flights, providing more options for customers to plan their travel within the Chinese New Year period.
MAB group chief marketing and customer experience officer Lau Yin May said Fú which means good fortune and blessings, was the theme for the airline’s Chinese New Year deals.
“In line with the theme, we are pleased to offer unbeatable deals for everyone to enjoy the festivities. Therefore, we urge customers not to miss this opportunity and grab their seats as early as possible.
“For those who travel light, our MHlite Economy fares are the perfect option for a seamless travel experience with Malaysia Airlines. We would also like to encourage travellers to take the long Chinese New Year weekend to grab these deals to explore the domestic destinations we have on offer, as part of our Fly Malaysia campaign in support of Visit Malaysia 2020,” she said in a statement today.
It added customers will be able to enjoy all-inclusive (one-way) domestic MHlite Economy fixed fares for departures from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, Langkawi, Johor Bharu, Kota Bharu, Terengganu, Alor Setar and Kuantan at RM129.
For the same price, customers will also be able to purchase flights between Kota Kinabalu-Tawau, Kuching-Kota Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu-Sandakan and Kuching-Miri.
The Fú Fixed Fare Festival also covers flights from Kuala Lumpur to Sabah and Sarawak including Kuching, Bintulu, Sibu, Miri as well as Labuan at RM169 and to Sandakan and Tawau at RM189.
