KUALA LUMPUR: Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Ministry has appointed Datuk Jalaluddin Alias as UDA Holdings Bhd chairman effective from yesterday.
Jalaluddin is Jelebu Member of Parliament and a member of the Umno supreme council and head of Jelebu Umno division.
He was previously a member of the state council of Negri Sembilan and chairman of housing and local government welfare.
He holds a Bachelor of Education degree and previously served and worked as a special officer of the Kuala Pilah/Jempol and Jelebu District Education Office from 1990 to 1991.
"We look forward to the appointment of the new chairman of UDA in the company's leadership line. We hope he will be able to inspire and aspire UDA to continue to excel and be ready to embark on every trust given," the ministry said.
