TFP Solutions inks dealer agreement with Multimax Creation for fintech solutions

KUALA LUMPUR: TFP Solutions Bhd's (TSB) wholly-owned subsidiary MBP Solutions Sdn Bhd (MSSB) recently signed a dealer agreement with Multimax Creations Sdn Bhd (MCSB) for the supply of a suite of fintech services, including an e-Wages system to pay foreign workers' salary electronically.

TSB executive director Puteri Munawarah Syammiyah Munir said under the signed DA, MSSB will provide a cashless ecosystem to Euronipa Consortium Agropreneur Project, known as Sanap, which has a total of 200 agropreneurs supervising 15,000 foreign workers employed at the Nipah Sugar Plantation.

MCSB is the operator of Sanap, which has a large network of domestic members and foreign workers.

"In addition, TSB is collaborating with MobilityOne Sdn Bhd (MOSB) to offer smartcard technology that has dual role functions such as employee's identification (ID) card and approved built-in eWallet that is linked to the OneCALL mobile fintech solutions.

"Our SmartHR solution will be used to track attendance. At the same time, the card can be used to make payment transactions and cash-out service at MOSB's authorised merchants", Munawarah said in a statement today.

Employers would also be able to pay salaries via MSSB' e-Wages system, ensuring payments are on-time every month with less processes involved.

The e-Wages system is in line with the government's aspirations to ensure all employees in the country are paid as promised via an online system, as mentioned by human resources minister Datuk Seri M Saravanan recently.

TSB managing director Datuk Hussian @ Rizal A Rahman said all foreign workers employed under this project will be given the OneCALL fintech sim card for their use.

He said this mobile sim has a vast add-on options, which no other mobile operator in Malaysia has offered thus far, such as a built-in approved e-Wallet, the convenience of bill payments and purchase of prepaid top-up, purchase of data plan and money transfers via OTR (onetransfer remittance) to send money back home.

In addition, MSSB will also provide the management of the foreign workers with a SmartHR payroll system to ensure smooth salary disbursement at the end of every month,

"TSB's fintech services will transform management and financial operations digitally, as well as provide convenience for the foreign workers," MCSB chairman Datuk Sri Noor Muzammil said.

As for TSB, this collaboration is expected to further cement the company's position as a niche fintech solution provider in Malaysia and further boost ongoing transformation strategies aimed at shaping the company into a leading fintech entity.
