NCT Alliance donates RM50k to UTAR Education Foundation

KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Alliance Bhd (NCT Alliance) donated RM50,000 to UTAR Education Foundation, to benefit Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Hospital in Kampar, Perak.

The contribution, which was part of NCT Alliance's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, is aimed at facilitating the upgrading of the hospitals' facilities and equipment to continue providing Malaysians with quality and affordable medical and health services.

NCT Alliance group executive director Datuk Yap Fook Choy said as a responsible property developer, the company aims to play its part in elevating Malaysians' quality of life by ensuring access to quality healthcare services.

"The pandemic was a wake-up call to remind us of the importance of maintaining good health and well-being.

"We hope our contribution will support UTAR Hospital in its aspirations to provide excellent care to the community," said Yap.

Meanwhile, UTAR president Datuk Ewe Hong Tat said UTAR Hospital is part of UTAR's development and progress as a private institution for the people.

Ewe said UTAR would like to thank NCT Alliance for this kind generosity.

"This contribution will benefit the community who require quality and affordable medical and health services in Western, Traditional, and Complementary Medicines as well as train and educate medical students and carry out research to advance healthcare and medicine," he said.
