AmBank grants RM158.5mil financing facilities to EXSIM unit for KL project

KUALA LUMPUR: AmBank Group has granted RM158.5 million in financing facilities to Lembaran Beruntung Sdn Bhd, a member of EXSIM, to partially finance the development costs for its latest project, Branniganz Suites, Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur.

The 50-storey tower, which includes 269 serviced apartments, 490 office suites, and three retail lots, is part of the bank's support for sustainable real estate development in prime urban areas.

As part of the bank's support for financing sustainable real estate developments, particularly in prime urban areas, this marks the 14th project that the bank has financed for EXSIM, the first being in 2008.

As of today, EXSIM has launched 38 developments with a gross development value (GDV) of around RM16 billion.

"We are very pleased to continue supporting EXSIM, one of our long-standing customers in AmBank, in their growth and sustainability journey.

"With their reputable track record in property development over the years, it is an honour to be entrusted with providing our financial support towards EXSIM's continued expansion in creating sustainable and inclusive developments that uplift the urban landscape of Kuala Lumpur," said group chief executive officer of AmBank Group, Jamie Ling.

Managing director of EXSIM, Lim Aik Hoe, said, "EXSIM is overwhelmed with the tremendous support received from AmBank over the years and is pleased to continue exploring more sustainable developments with AmBank's continued financing facilities.

"With the same goal in mind, EXSIM undoubtedly believes that committing and integrating environmental, social, and governance-related matters will definitely lead to building a sustainable future."
