Scam alert: SC flags 3 potential clone entities Zoksa, UOB Kay Hian and Syarikat Magnisave

KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission of Malaysia today flagged three potential clone entities, Zoksa, UOB Kay Hian and Syarikat Magnisave, on its investor alert list.

Potential clones impersonate legitimate entities.

Zoksa has a clone operating an illegal investment scheme, which is carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities.

Syarikat Magnisave is misusing the name and credentials of Magnisave Group Sdn Bhd, a licensed entity with SC and an approved Financial Adviser with Bank Negara Malaysia.

It is also misusing SC's name and logo.

UOB Kay Hian is misusing the name and credentials of UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd, a licensed entity with SC.

The SC advises against dealing with or investing in unauthorised entities and individuals on its investor alert list.

If you invest through unauthorised entities and individuals, you will not be protected under Malaysian securities laws.
