SC adds 14 more companies to its Investor Alert list

KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission (SC) has added 14 names to its Investor Alert list.

As of March 12, the commission has added 14 names to the list, consisting of nine potential clone entities and five unauthorised entities.

Among the potential clone entities are Vida Markets Malaysia, Al-Isra Group Syariah, Aiiman Asset, MCG Capital Corporation/MBCG Capital Group, IGT Portal Investment Malaysia/Teck Guan Group, WM Gold Venture, Pelaburan RoboForex Malaysia, DDNK Menang Saham, and BelleoFX Saham Trader.

Meanwhile, the unauthorised entities and individuals comprise Just Markets, Sahabat RoyalQ Investment, Over Binary Option, VIP Menang Saham, and Cemerlang Saham Pertama.

According to the SC website, these potential clones and unauthorised entities are engaged in illicit investment schemes promising elevated returns.

Furthermore, they conduct unauthorised capital market activities involving securities trading, and also misrepresent and misuse the SC logo.
