MCCC to boost Malaysia-Cambodia bilateral ties

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) hosted its first annual general meeting (AGM) and installation night recently.

MCCC said the AGM had insightful discussions, strategic planning sessions and a reflection on the chamber's achievements over the past year.

Upcoming events outlined by the chamber included a trade mission from Cambodia to Malaysia on April 25-28 and a Malaysian trade mission to Cambodia in July.

Both trade missions, which will have about 150 delegates, aim to strengthen bilateral trade relations and enhance economic ties between both countries.

The AGM also saw a new line up for the chamber whereby Datuk Sri Dr Ricky Yaw was made the founding president, Datuk Seri Hoogle Ng is the general secretary, Patrick Low as the deputy general secretary and Datuk Keng Yeng Kin as the treasurer, among others.

"The AGM was made possible with the generous support of Dr. Ben Li from Urban Hub, who sponsored the venue and contributed to its success.

"As MCCC looks ahead to another year of facilitating economic relations between Malaysia and Cambodia, the association remains committed to its objectives and anticipates continued collaboration with its esteemed members and partners," it added.
