KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today launched three new variants of its new E-Class coupe, with prices starting from RM435,888.
The trio of cars are part of Mercedes' Dream Car Collection, the marque's most exclusive range of vehicles marketed in the country.
"The sleek and athletic design coupled with its masculine appeal and its refined luxury perfectly position this vehicle as the ultimate status symbol. It is truly a masterpiece and a proud member of the Mercedes-Benz Dream Car Collection," said Mark Raine, vice-president of sales and marketing for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
The cars were unveiled at the Metal Bees Production House in Kota Damansara.
At the lower end of the range, the E200 Coupe is powered by a four cylinder, in-line engine, producing 184hp and 300Nm of torque.
With 0 to 100 kph acceleration of 7.8 seconds, and a top speed of 240kph, the base model retails at RM435,888 on the road (inclusive of GST, but without insurance).
Further up the range, the E300 Coupe, also powered by a 1991cc in-line four engine, produces 245hp and 370Nm of torque.
It accelerates to 100kph in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250kph. Prices start from RM499,888, and go up to RM534,888 for the special edition Edition 1.
