MITSUBISHI Motors Malaysia has added the latest Triton VGT AT GL variant to its Triton line-up for the local market.
The Mitsubishi Triton VGT GL is powered by a 2.4-litre MIVEC turbodiesel engine that produces 179hp at 3,500rpm and 430Nm of torque at 2,500rpm.
The truck is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and Mitsubishi’s Easy Select 4WD system.
It comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, dark chrome radiator grille, automatic climate control, fabric seats, halogen headlights, 5.9m radius turning circle, double-DIN audio system with six-speaker sound system.
As for the safety aspects of the Triton VGT AT GL, it features two airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, brake assist, active stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, trailer stability assist, reverse sensors and Isofix child seat mounting points.
Mitsubishi will be organising a roadshow at the Centre Court of Aeon Tebrau City in Johor Baru from September 19-24 and at the Centre Court of Mid Valley Megamall in the Klang Valley from September 27 to October 1.
The new Triton is priced at RM103,800, without insurance but inclusive of the six per cent Goods and Services Tax, and is covered by a five-year, or 200,000km, warranty, whichever comes first.
