KUALA LUMPUR: Investment, Trade and Industry minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz says the new cabinet line-up is a "good team" which could contribute to the government's success.

The minister also thanked Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for maintaining his portfolio.

"I thank the PM for having confidence in me and maintaining my position as minister.

"I also would like to congratulate other cabinet members and I look forward to working with my new colleagues.

Earlier today Anwar announced several changes in the federal cabinet line-up.

He said the decision was made after discussing with leaders of parties in the unity government.

Anwar's restructured cabinet now comprises 31 ministers, supported by 29 deputy ministers.
