HONDA Malaysia Sdn Bhd has introduced the authorised Ultra Body Coating for all of its models.
The coating gives extra protection to the paint and colour on the car body surfaces from the effects of heat, ultraviolet rays, iron dust, bird droppings, tar and small stones.
Customers can use the coating to maintain the body paint finish in pristine condition, without having to worry about voiding the paint warranty.
The advanced Ultra Body Coating is made from glass-based material and has the highest glass-based coating rating of 9H by industry standards. This allows an easier maintenance and effective antifouling to further protect the body paint.
Any car models from Honda Malaysia can now enjoy a smooth and glossy body surface with just one application of the coating. It provides a showroom-like shine and glossiness.
The Ultra Body Coating has been tested and approved by Honda Access in Japan and certified as an authorised genuine Honda accessory.
The Ultra Body Coating is priced at RM2,880 inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax for all models with a three-year warranty.
However, the coating performance and duration may vary depending on the car’s parking environment and usage.
An annual check-up is required to be entitled to the three-year warranty. The warranty voids if the customer fails to attend annual check-up at the authorised Honda Access body coating applicator.
The package also includes two-time free maintenance after the initial application, once every six months in the first year. The third maintenance onwards will be charged, only if necessary, with terms and conditions apply.
Honda customers who are interested can bring their cars to the nearest authorised panel applicator for the coating, or any Honda dealers who can assist in making the arrangements. The coating service will be available from October 16, except for Langkawi, Labuan, Miri, Sibu and Bintulu.
