JAGUAR Land Rover (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, an exclusive importer for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in Malaysia, has launched the 2018 Jaguar F-Type Coupe 2.0L Ingenium.
There are slight changes to its exterior and interior, nonetheless, the main highlight is that the coupe is powered by the new 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium engine.
The engine produces 296hp at 5,500rpm and 400Nm of torque from 1,500rpmto 4,500rpm. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Jaguar claims that this rear-wheel drive variant can sprint from standstill to 100kph in 5.7 seconds with anelectronically-limited top speed of 250kph.
The changes on its exterior includes the redesigned LED headlights, taillights, bumper, exhaust tailpipe finisher and the 18-inch wheels. The company also introduced a new colour — Silicon Silver.
As for its interior, it is equipped with the light-weight slim-line seats. The seat’s weight was reduced by 8kg with the use of pressure-cast die-cast magnesium alloy for the seat frames. It comes with a new chrome and aluminium accent finishers trims.
There is also the Siena Tan leather option added to its interior colour schemes.
The F-Type features the Touch Pro infotainment
system with a 10-inch touchscreen. It runs on the quad-core processor and a high-speed 60GB solid-state drive (SSD), as well as an ultra-fast Ethernet network.
Thecar ispriced at RM575,800 excluding road tax, registration and insurance and it is available at Jaguar showrooms nationwide.
