Volvo Car Malaysia opens Mutiara Damansara 3S centre

PETALING JAYA: Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) today launched its latest 3S centre (sales, service and spare parts) in Mutiara Damansara.

VCM, in partnership with Ingress Swede Automobile Sdn Bhd, said the opening of the new centre was in line with its new transformation strategy, which focussed on expanding its retail presence this year, in sync with the growing sales volume.

The company currently has 12 showrooms in Malaysia and plans to open three more this year.

Its managing director Nalin Jain said: “In the premium segment, the product is not the sole factor in the consumer’s purchase decision.

"What’s equally important is the value, quality, and accessibility of services that they can enjoy throughout their journey with the brand.”

Located in Mutiara Damansara, the new Volvo Cars 3S Centre will feature a showroom and service centre that has been built in adherence to the brand’s latest retail standard – Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) – which communicates Volvo’s Scandinavian-inspired values and heritage.

Meanwhile, Ingress Swede dealer principal Mohd Azeman Mohamed Akram Ab Rahman said: “Owing to our extensive experience within the premium automotive sector, we are confident in delivering the brand experience that is expected by Volvo Cars’ customers.”

The event was graced by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, and attended by the senior management from Ingress Swede’s parent company, Ingress Corporation Berhad, and representatives from VCM.

The Mutiara Damansara showroom is able to service up to six cars at a time, and opens from 8.00am till 6.00pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10am till 4.00pm on Sunday and Public Holiday.
