LG Electronics plays conductor for Malaysian Vegetable Orchestra

KUALA LUMPUR: When you think of orchestra instruments, violins, cellos, trumpets and drums come to mind. Never vegetables.

Well, you’re going to start thinking differently now.

LG Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd today introduced the first-of-its-kind Malaysian Vegetable Orchestra performance by the Malaysian Buskers Club, using only vegetables as instruments.

The unique demonstration, featured at the LG 2017 Roadshow at Pavilion shopping mall here, aimed to highlight the latest technology in its LG's Inverter Linear refrigerators.

The freshness of foods is prolonged with the help of its Hygiene Fresh+ technology, which acts like an interior air purification system.

The innovation employs a multi-layered filter to help sterilise and remove bacteria, viruses, mould spores, and odours from within the fridge.

Dubbed the “Inverter NatureFresh Campaign,” the roadshow begins today and will run till Sunday.

LG also launched the first-in-the-world Picture-on-Wall SIGNATURE OLED W7 TV, during the opening.

The sleekest television on the market complements your wall, like a moving painting, adding sophistication to your living room, while delivering unparalleled performance.

The TV features a thin 3.8mm panel, offers Dolby Atmos home system and supports premium HDR format.

Only available at the roadshow, pre-orders of the TV will be eligible for a discounted price of RM39,999, compared to its recommended retail price of RM45,999.

The refrigerator is also on promotion for RM7,999, instead of its retail price of RM10,999.

Consumers can enjoy more discounts and experience other notable products at the roadshow, including LG's top- and front-load washing machines, the LG TWINWash, the LG Super UHD TV with Nano Cell technology, 4K monitors and gaming monitors.
