SOLAR-POWERED SECURITY CAMERA

THE new Lynx Solar camera from Tend harnesses the power of the sun to fulfill home security needs. It is also the first fully integrated solar-powered WiFi outdoor HD camera.

The Lynx Solar offers round-the-clock surveillance with a reliable and intelligent monitoring capability.

To provide additional peace of mind, it even comes with fully-integrated facial recognition software. You will need to first upload clear photos of friends and family to the facial recognition library. Once that is done, sit back and receive notifications whenever there are familiar faces which show up. If a stranger is detected, you will be alerted accordingly.

Tend claims that a single, sunny day is more than enough to deliver an adequate amount of power to run the Lynx Solar for up to seven days.

Of course, such a claim is based on recording/streaming up to one hour of crystal-clear HD video and audio each day.

Even when the power is out and the Internet is down, the Lynx Solar has enough space to stash away up to three days of recorded data internally.

When it gets connected once again and the power is back, all of the local data will be uploaded to Tend’s free cloud storage platform.

The Lynx Solar is priced at US$199.99.
