KUALA LUMPUR: The Vivo V series smartphone saw a new addition to its family today with the launch of the Vivo V7.
A smaller version of the Vivo V7+, which debut in Malaysia in September this year, Vivo V7 carries the same technical specifications including the 24MP front camera that features the smart photography algorithms such as the Face Beauty 7.0 mode that can be viewed in real-time before snapping a photo.
By keeping the display at 18:9 aspect ratio, the Vivo V7 is able to incorporate a FullView 5.7-inch display on a phone that would normally only house a 5.2-inch screen.
The phone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 3,000mAh battery, and a 16MP rear camera with phase detect autofocus.
Running on FunTouch 3.2 OS, which is based on Android 7.1, the Vivo V7 also boasts user-friendly features such as the Smart Split 3.0 and Face Access technology for security.
Available in two colours – Crown Gold and Matte Black – it retails at RM1,299 and is available for pre-order online from now until Nov 24 at Lazada Malaysia before it is released for sale on Nov 25 at Vivo concept stores, partner stores and other e-commerce marketplaces.
