KUALA LUMPUR: Microsoft fans can now pre-order the Surface Book 2 at local Surface authorised retailers.
Labelled as the most powerful Surface by Microsoft yet, the 2-in-1 laptop comes with the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and 1060 discrete graphics options, which are five times more powerful than its predecessor.
Available in two sizes – 13.5-inch and 15-inch, the Surface Book 2 ships with Windows 10 Pro and supports Microsoft Office apps.
It is equipped with full-size, backlit keyboard with 1.55mm of full key travel and a glass track pad with anti-fingerprint coating and improved multi-finger gestures. The stunning PixelSense Display also allows users to look and feel like real life.
The Surface Book 2 can be detached easily and faster with a push of a button and transform into a tablet.
In addition, the Surface Book 2 can be folded to activate Studio Mode for sketching with the Surface Pen2 and Surface Dial3.
Whether you're designing 3D models with CAD, sketching, or editing 4K video on an external monitor, Surface Book 2 has four versatile modes of use to help you find your breakthrough.
The versatility doesn't stop there as Surface Book 2 also connects to all your devices – hook up to USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports, as well as your full-size SD card, Surface Dial and Surface Dock.
As users work seamlessly with the Microsoft Office apps, playing is also a breeze as no dongle is required when pairing with Xbox Wireless controller and compatible headset (15-inch models only).
Ranging from RM6,899 to RM14,199, the Surface Book 2 will officially launch on March 15.
