HONOR launches new range of lifestyle products and youth programme

KUALA LUMPUR: HONOR has launched its latest X series, the HONOR 9X.

The phone offers three major upgrades from its predecessor with its next-generation technology in design, photography and performance.

Armed with a 48MP triple camera setup, the HONOR 9X is packed with advanced AI algorithms. Its AIS Super Night Mode can produce good quality photos even in dimly-lit environments, and the inclusion of a 120-degree Super Wide Angle Camera helps users capture more scenes in a single photo.

The phone comes with a 6.59 inch HONOR FullView display and is available in two colour variants; Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black.

Powered by Kirin 710F chipset with 6GB + 128GB expandable memory up to 512GB, the phone is retailed at RM999.

Also at the launch, HONOR also made an official introduction to its new 1+8+N strategy and welcomed more products from its ecosystem.

With the proliferation of connected and smart devices, the company is paving the way for greater adoption of wearable technology with its suite of wireless earphones and fitness trackers. HONOR recently upgraded its HONOR Band 5 with SpO2, an all-new feature that allows users to track oxygen saturation levels in blood for RM129.

Meanwhile, the new HONOR Band 5 Sport (RM79) tracker has 6-Axis Motion Tracking Sensor that accurately tracks running postures and motions too.

Also joining in the ecosystem is the HONOR Sport PRO earphone. Featuring an ergonomic neckband, the RM299 earphones promise great audio quality and it is sweat resistant too.

Besides that, HONOR also introduced the HONOR MagicBook Pro that is set to arrive soon. The notebook is the brand’s first notebook in the Malaysian market.

With a mission to invent an intelligent new world for the young, busy and connected, HONOR has teamed up with local organisation Youths Today—a platform for youth to connect and gain access to opportunities - to support and encourage youths to tell and pursue their “Xtraordinary” lifestyle.

Through a specially-curated Social Entrepreneurship Programme, youths under the programme can kickstart their entrepreneurial journey with the help of some entrepreneurs who will share tips on HONOR Malaysia and Youths Today’s social platform. There will also be sharing sessions and apprentice programmes.

HONOR Malaysia also announced a special collaboration with local streetwear label, Stoned and Co for a limited-edition HONOR 9X merchandise specially designed for its fans.
