#TECH: Acer postpones Asia Pacific Predator League 2020

SUBANG JAYA: Acer announced that the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020 tournament has been postponed in the interest of the health and wellbeing of the tournament’s competitors, spectators and staff in the wake of current outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

Acer has long been committed to the development of eSports, and actively participates in and supports international eSports events. The Asia Pacific Predator League eSports Tournament is in its third installation this season.

Malaysia will be represented by Battle Arena Elites and Flower Gaming at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020 tournament.

With almost 20,000 tickets sold for this tournament, which was originally scheduled to take place in Manila, Philippines on February 19 to 23, 2020, the tournament is now tentatively rescheduled to be held either in June or July.

Updates to the tournament rules that arise as a result of this change of schedule will be announced on the league’s official website along with information about the reuse and/or reimbursement of tickets.

Acer will continue to closely monitor the coronavirus situation and further announce when the exact dates have been determined.

Contestants will be directly contacted with notices of important updates and when new dates for the tournament are finalised.
