MAXIS is making a difference in presenting its Hari Raya message with a 8D Audio film instead of the normal video. The film juxtaposes the 8D audio narrative of joyous festivities against images of the past and present to deliver a story of a perfect Hari Raya celebration even in imperfect times
According to Maxis, the film is the first ever 8D Audio film, called Suasana Syawal Sempurna (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w744TfTIS4U) featuring the voice of young Haziq, with scenes of real-life Malaysian festive stories from the past and present.
The images in the film, accompanying the 8D Audio narrative, portray how Malaysians have experienced imperfect Hari Raya circumstances before – from natural disasters and distanced loved ones, to underprivileged and unexpected locations – but yet they had joyous, perfect celebrations.
"As we practice social distancing and safeguard our health collectively in these unprecedented times, we believe Malaysians will continue to find ways to stay close and connected with the use of technology, ingenuity and optimism. With this special Raya campaign, we hope to inspire Malaysians and their loved ones to remain positive and strong during this truly special time of the year," said Maxis' chief executive officer, Gokhan Ogut.
