KUALA LUMPUR: Garmin Malaysia announced the launch of two watches packed with a suite of modern features—vívomove Sport, and Venu 2 Plus.
The Venu 2 Plus also announced a special collaboration with Jovian, a local designer apparel brand founded by Jovian Mandagie where every purchase of the smartwatch comes with a box of thirty 3-ply masks.
Garmin Asia's assistant general manager, Scoppen Lin, said that both smartwatches promote beyond health awareness where safety with "...tracking features such as the automatic incident detection helps send a message with the user's location to their emergency contacts".
"For active lifestyle, multi-tasking is crucial, on-device voice capabilities of the latest Venu 2 Plus grants users the ability to have conversations directly through the smartwatch and the vívomove Sport has the added capability to respond to texts. Plus, Garmin's LiveTrack allows friends and families to track the user's outdoor activity. Users can even assign a designated emergency contact for the Venu 2 Plus," said Lin in a statement.
THE HYBRID WATCH
The vívomove Sport embraces the traditional look of an analog watch.
Stylised with real ticking watch hands, the vívomove Sport is designed for those who seek subtle ways to stay connected.
Inspired by sophistication and comfort, the vívomove Sport features a silicone band and colour-coordinated watch dial in warm colourways added with refined metallic accents that boost dimension.
THE GPS SMARTWATCH
The Venu 2 Plus is a new GPS smartwatch that provides a full-bodied entourage of health and fitness features including sleep score with insights, stress tracking, energy monitoring, Pulse Ox, women's health features and a wide variety of fitness and workout options.
Comes with more than 75 preset animated workouts for cardio, yoga, strength, HIIT and Pilates, the Venu 2 Plus gives users to see proper form and technique of a workout in Garmin Connect on the wrist.
Its new voice functionality empowers users to not only take calls, send texts, but also ask questions and operate smart home devices. This feature is compatible with Siri, Google Assistant as well as Bixby.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The vívomove Sport comes in four colour options—Cocoa, Cool Mint, Ivory and Black. It is now available locally at Garmin brand stores, all authorised retailers and e-commerce platform Shopee and Lazada, as well as AECO e-store at a recommended retail price of RM840.
The Venu 2 Plus is available in Graphite Black, Cream Gold and Powder Gray at a recommended retail price of RM2,099.
