KUALA LUMPUR: Panasonic has introduced the new Tangle-Free Hair Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner (MC-SB85), designed to help parents keep their floors and carpet hair and dust-free.
Available in three variants, Panasonic has developed a conical-shape brush that can collect and transfer hair to the thinner centre part of the vacuum head before it gets sucked in.
This new technology results in a tangle-free power nozzle that makes nozzle cleaning an easy feat.
The tangle-free power nozzle is coated with an ion plate that removes bacteria from the floor by neutralising microbes transported from outdoors. Which is a great help if you have furry friends and babies in the house.
Panasonic Malaysia's deputy managing director, Keisuke Nishida said "Children and pets undoubtedly make households livelier, but it can also bring about additional worry as to whether the environment is clean and hygienic enough for them. At Panasonic, we understand parents are concerned if they are providing the best care for their families, which is why we have designed a tool that not only ensures cleanliness but makes the cleaning process seamless. Parents will never look at chores the same way again when they see how efficient and fuss-free our new range of vacuum cleaners are."
The cordless stick vacuum cleaner has a built-in house dust sensor that detects and adjusts suction power based on the amount of dust detected, then flows through a stainless guard anti-clog filter system that traps it for easy cleaning after.
It boasts a 150W suction power that lasts for 85 minutes and it keeps the whole house clean with a simple press of a button.
The vacuum has a minimalist design, weighs only 2 kg, and can be extended to clean higher places too.
Another variant is the light version, MC-SB30 model, which weighs at only 1.6kg and can fit through high and narrow spaces with a high power of 100W and a V-shaped brush that collects dust to the central suction inlet for thorough cleaning.
It includes two types of bristle ends that can remove dust particles from floors, carpets, and other surfaces.
The final variant is the heavier MC-SBV01 model which includes a 0.6 large capacity and 20W for a deeper clean.
Plus, the nozzle is self-propelled and has LED lights to guide the vacuum in hard-to-see areas.
It weighs 2.3kg and distributes 1.5kg of its main unit up to the handle to allow a higher centre of gravity which extends the vacuum cleaner's versatility from the floor to the ceiling.
Both MC-SBV01 and MC-SB30 models come with a house dust sensor, anti-clog filter system, and easy cleaning features.
It is available now nationwide at any authorised dealer's store and Panasonic online stores.
The MC-SB85 variant is priced at RM2,799, while the MC-SB30 and the MC-SBV01 are available at RM1,199 and RM699 respectively.
