KUALA LUMPUR: Acer Malaysia has launched a new line of gaming desktops, gaming monitors, and LED gaming projectors at the 'It Lies Within' roadshow, Sunway Pyramid, yesterday.
Acer Malaysia's consumer business, product, and marketing director, Johnson Seet said in the past few years, the gaming industry has been growing and we believe it is now a lifestyle for both youths and adults too.
"We want to equip them with great devices and we believe that we suit the best for casual gamers and pro gamers who need upgraded specs for their gaming time," he said.
PREDATOR HELIOS 300
The new Predator Helios 30015 is powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and is paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics that supports higher Maximum Graphics Power (MGP) of up to 150W.
It has an 80 per cent screen-to-body ratio and a 15.6-inch QHD display that supports a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut too.
Furthermore, it supports a 165Hz refresh rate and 3ms overdrive for smoother visuals when gaming.
It is also packed with up to 2 TB SSD with up to 32 GB 4800 MHz DDR and has a PredatorSense button to monitor and control fan speed.
Thanks to the dual 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, it keeps the Predator Helios 300 cool and stable.
There's also a WiFi 6E connectivity and Killer Doubleshot Pro (E2600 + 1675i) under the mini-LED RGB backlit keyboard.

ACER NITRO 5
The Nitro 5 is powered by up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and is equipped with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM as well as up to 1TB SSD with an additional 2.5-inch SATA slot for handling multiple applications simultaneously.
Available in 165Hz QHD IPS display and 144Hz FHD IPS display, they support 200 per cent DCI-P3 and 45 per cent NTSC colour gamut respectively.
They also feature dual fans from both top and bottom chassis with four exhaust ports included.
It also has NitroSense, comes with higher Maximum Graphics Power (MGP), and is equipped with Killer DoubleShot Pro (E2600 + 1675i) and WiFi 6E.
