Many women never really outgrow their favourite childhood characters, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are two icons that remind us of carefree childhood and Saturday morning cartoons.
It comes as no secret, therefore, that many fashion brands collaborate with Disney to have these characters on their items, worn by grown-up women.
Local accessories label My Ballerine is the latest brand to pair with Disney for a capsule collection of accessories and shoes bearing the signatures of Disney's classic characters.
The brand has launched a series of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse women's shoes, bags, wallets and card holders. The first drop was yesterday, and another one will be on June 30.
As a Malaysian brand, My Ballerine says it is excited to share this collection with everyone, especially those who have grown up with Mickey and Minnie and are still young at heart.
"The classy and dainty Mickey and Minnie charms, bows and colours are the highlight of this collection," it says.
The collection is made up of eight designs of shoes and bags including classic ballerina, slingback, sandal, loafer, Mary Jane flats, shoulder bag, wallet and card holder. The shoe sizes range from 35 to 42, with prices ranging from RM69.90 to RM159.90.
