Rapper Pitbull to rock Malaysia, again

GRAMMY-WINNING global superstar Pitbull is set to bring the house down at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach on May 16.

Marking his second visit to Malaysia, the concert is part of the rapper’s Climate Change Tour 2017.

Born Armando Christian Perez, the 36-year-old musician and performer who is also known as Mr Worldwide had performed on our shores to an enthusiastic sold-out crowd at his concert in 2013.

Tickets to the latest concert are priced at RM498 (VIP) and RM288 (CAT1), and are available via Ticketcharge (www.ticketcharge.com.my) or the hotline +603-9222 8811.

Alternatively, tickets can be purchased at selected Speedy video, Victoria Music, Rock Corner and Chambers Music outlets TicketCharge KL office, PJ Live Arts, or at the information counter at the Mines shopping mall and 1 Shamelin.

For fans outside of the Klang Valley, tickets can be purchased at Eden Ultimate in Kuantan, Pahang, and Blonde Brunette in Penang.

Pitbull has sold five million albums and more than 60 million singles.

The Cuban-American recording artiste has had No. 1 hits in more than 15 countries; his videos have more than five billion views; and his millions of followers on social media are proof of his global influence.

His 2012 album, Global Warming: Meltdown, produced massive hit singles such as Feel This Moment, featuring Christina Aguilera, Don’t Stop the Party and Back in Time, the soundtrack for the action-comedy Men In Black 3.

He also received his second No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for Timber, featuring Ke$ha, following the success of Give Me Everything from his 2011 album Planet Pit.

On top of making quality music, acting and being a fashion icon, the star has also built a business empire developing TV projects, a fragrance line and a Latin hip-hop record label.

Pitbull Climate Change Tour Live in Malaysia 2017 is organised by IME Malaysia.

After Malaysia, the tour will continue in Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.
