KUALA LUMPUR: Award-winning South Korean actors Song Joong-ki, So Ji-sub and Hwang Jung-min are in Kuala Lumpur to promote their latest war action flick The Battleship Island.
The stars are expected to make an appearance at Pavilion KL’s main entrance at 7pm, today followed by the film’s gala premiere at GSC Pavilion thereafter.
Also attending the promotional event is the motion picture’s high-octane writer-director Ryoo Seung-wan (Veteran, The Berlin File, The Unjust).
The movie depicts the courageous story of three men staging a daring escape from a forced labour camp on the perilous “Battleship Island” while leading 400 fellow Korean prisoners during the Japanese colonial era.
The Battleship Island is co-distributed in Malaysia by Clover Films and GSC Movies in association with King Kong Media Productions.
