KUALA LUMPUR: It seems that popular TV personality Faizal Ismail has now found a new avenue to broadcast his very own live show, via the social media platform of Facebook.
Utilising the FB live streaming application, the TV host and former Hot FM radio announcer has been coming up with sessions that follow a “home radio” concept, all recorded in his own home.
In a recent news report, Faizal, 41, said: “By using my Facebook account, I can now basically create something similar to my own live radio show.”
Fondly known as FBI, he added: “But this is not just a frivolous fun thing because I also feature special guests such as Fara Fauzana and a few others on the show."
Although viewers are able to see Faizal in action onscreen, he said that the programme also featured a musical element where he plays tracks just like a real radio show.
The live sessions certainly feature a pretty casual and laid back vibe.
“Sometimes I do the live shows with a sarong on and there are times when my kids appear randomly in the background,” said the Penang-born father of four.
It was reported that the FB live streamed show began about three weeks ago with new sessions airing daily at 9pm.
Faizal was reported to have also said that there were several interested parties that were willing to sponsor his online radio show.
