(Showbiz) Actress Fasha and ex-hubby make peace for children's sake

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actress Fasha Sandha's recent Instagram photo taken with her ex-husband Rizal Ashram Ramli, and captioned that they had "made peace", has finally been explained.

Both of them have agreed to do so for the sake of their children at the Syariah High Court here today.

In proceedings before Syarie Judge Muhammad Abdul Karim Wahab, Fasha, 33, whose real name is Nur Fasha Sandha Hassan, withdrew an order for an injunction to restrain Rizal, 41, from disturbing her, which she had filed last March.

And in proceedings made in chamber before Syarie Judge Nasir Abdul Aziz, Jejai withdrew a committal case against Fasha pertaining to his right to visit the children and several public statements on family matters which Fasha had earlier made.

Fasha and Jejai also agreed to obey all court orders made following their divorce on Jan 20, 2016, and observe all settlements recorded by the court.

When met outside the court, Fasha who wore a black dress and tudung, declined to comment on the proceedings, and advised the media to look at her latest news on Instagram.

She and Jejai also issued a joint statement which said that they had reached the best agreement possible for the sake of their children's future.

"We thank God for showing us the best way to resolve our differences for the sake of our children. We are thankful that God has shown us the way," said Fasha and Jejai in a statement to Harian Metro.

Fasha was represented by Syarie lawyer Zulkifli Che Yong while Jejai was represented by Syarie lawyer Ahmad Badri Idris.

Fasha and Jejai were married between April 27, 2012 and Jan 20, 2016, and have two children, Putra Rayfal, 3, and Putri Raysha Jemyma, 2.

Jejai was previously married to actress Nora Danish, 34, from June 20, 2006 to July 10, 2008. They have a son, Putra Rayqal, 9.
