KUALA LUMPUR: After her ex-husband tied the knot with Indonesian actress Laudya Cynthia Bella last month, news have emerged that Erra Fazira will also be taking the wedding plunge next year.
Singer Shahir Zawawi, 29, who has been romantically linked to Erra, told Berita Harian recently of his plans to wed the 43-year-old Mr. Cinderella star early next year.
The Akademi Fantasia Season 8 champ who is a finalist of AF Megastar said: “Having dated for three years now, I admit that Erra is the woman for me. There’s no one else but her whom I’d rather be with,” he said.
His statement comes hot on the heels of a rumour about him allegedly cheating on Erra with a stewardess named Mona Syamimi Mohd Samsudin.
The cheating rumour began when a photo of Shahir and Mona appearing to be a couple, began making its rounds on social media recently.
“I felt the need to justify mine and Erra’s relationship. I hope no one will try to sabotage our relationship anymore after this,” he said.
